    I don’t know. I assume you can still buy it in the US but haven’t checked in a long time. My sweet long-departed grandma used to buy me an ice cold bottle on occasion back in the sixties during the sweltering Indiana summers. But it’s still available in Mexico.Actually any grapefruit-flavored soft drink goes well with tequila. Fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice, ice, soda water, and a quarter lime on the side in a tropical beachfront palm-shaded hammock go even better. (I’m sort of already into next week’s vacation, if you know what I mean!)I just mentioned Squirt because it comes in a light green can, with yellow letters if I remember right. I usually buy it in the 2 liter green plastic bottle so I’m not completely sure what the cans look like.
